Housing

You can now make your reservations at Atlantis!

This is a very large resort with a number of options available.  Our room block has two basic options:
  • Royal Tower "run of the house" -- $289/night
  • Cove "run of suite" -- $389/night
  • Please note: Both venues have an abundance of connecting rooms, which probably will be a less expensive option that a suite.  There are suites available, however, we were not able to get group rates for the Club during the dates of the meeting.  If you want to look into suite options, we recommend that you phone the reservations center (see number below) to find out what is available.
The Royal Tower is the iconic building you see in all of the publicity shots.  This is the "hub" of the resort and is at the center of all the action.  Families -- especially with kids -- probably will want to consider the Royal Tower for your housing.  It also is the closer of the two housing options to the meeting space.  The Cove is a more up-scale and less busy venue which may appeal to older couples who will be traveling without children.

  • Check-in time is 3 p.m.; check-out is 11 a.m.  If your room is ready before 3 p.m., you will be allowed to check in then.  The "Transit Lounge" and "Hospitality Cavern" are available for guests arriving early or departing late. So, even if departing later in the day, you can still enjoy the resort amenities and then change for your flight home.
  • A reservation deposit equal to two nights will be charged at the time of your reservation.
  • The cut-off date for the AESC room block is July 1, 2013.
  • Additional occupants in a room (over age 11) will be charged $25 per person/per night up to a maximumof four occupants in a room.
  • Please note that Bahamian government taxes and certain resort levies are added to every room bill at Atlantis.  In addition, there is a one-time bellman charge of $6 per person (over 11 years of age) and a poll/beach attendant/lifeguard charge of $1.50 per person, per night for those over 11 years of age).
  • The "utility service fee" of $13.95 per person, per night is waived for the AESC room block.
  • We have 10 complimentary fitness center passes for use by Club members.  These will be given out by the AESC on a "first to request" basis.
  • Be aware that in order to negotiate special group rates, the AESC had to make a commitment to book a certain number of room night.  Therefore, it is very important for AESC members to book through the Club room block and to identify themselves as AESC meeting attendees when making reservations.  This will help us to avoid additioanl "attrition" charges!
  • Plan to fly into the Nassau airport.  (Freeport is 150 miles away on a different island.)
