AESC Member Assistance Program

 
One of the hallmarks of the American Eye Study Club is how the members support each other professionally and personally.  On occasion, events happen that have a major impact on a member and/or their family.  This could be a natural disaster or something else that results in a substantial need for assistance.  

The AESC leadership has initiated a "Member Assistance Program" through which AESC members can make a voluntary contribution for the support of their fellow members.  The form below can be used to make a donation by credit card of whatever amount you feel is appropriate.  The Club executive committee will make a determination of how these resources will be used in accordance with the announcement of a need.

Please keep in mind that, although your donation will make a difference to your fellow Club members, in compliance with federal tax laws, we are unable to offer charitable tax deductions for this project.  We appreciate your understanding.

Current Need(s)

As a result of the wild fires that occurred in Los Angeles (January 2025), Club members Jesse Berry and Tom Lee both lost their homes and now face potentially years of recovery.  Click on the links below to read their stories.
