The following group rates are available during the dates of our conference. This pricing also is available three days before and after the conference on a space-available basis. NOTE:The hotel is nearly sold out on the Saturday before our meeting (7/28), so discounted rooms are no longer available for that night.
"Run of the House" guestrooms -- $309.00 per night
The following upgraded rooms also are offered as part of our group housing:
Vista View Room -- $329.00
Peak View Room -- $359.00
One-Bedroom Suite -- $459.00
Two-Bedroom Suite -- $768.00
NOTE: As was discussed at the last business meeting, we will be experimenting with "partial meeting" registration fees for Emeritus members only. Thus, if you are an Emeritus member and plan to attend only a couple of days, you may select a "first half" or a "second half" registration which will be less than the full fee for the entire meeting. More details about this will be posted on the main meeting page. Keep this in mind as you consider your hotel reservations.

We recommend that you book your hotel reservations early to be sure you are able to get your choice of accommodations. In any event, the deadline for booking within the AESC room block is July 2, 2018.

Special note!, Our room block is now closed. Please contact Kathy Paul at the AESC office if you have any changes to your reservation. NOTE -- After Monday, July 9, you will be held financially responsible for your entire reservation. Despite the cancellation policy that may have appeared on your room confirmation, the hotel treats groups differently with more restrictive cancellations.

The normal $40 per room/per night resort fee has been reduced to $20. This includes:
Round trip bellman gratuities (normally $14 per person)
Daily housekeeping gratuities ($5 per room/night)
Complimentary in-room WiFi/Internet in guest rooms
Access to Spa Montage, including the Wellness Center and select fitness classes. AESC guests will receive a 10% discount on spa services during the dates of the conference
Room rates are subject to 10.95% tax
The cutoff for AESC group reservations is Monday, July 2, 2018.
Reservation Rules
All reservations are subject to a one night deposit at booking and full pre-payment 7 days before arrival
Cancellations at least 7 days before arrival will be fully refunded. Cancellations less than 7 days before arrival will incur a one night room and tax penalty.
PLEASE NOTE: Cancellation on or after the day of arrival "no shows" will reqwuire full payment for the reserved stay, including tax.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m. Guests arriving early will be able to check-in provided their room is available. Late departures will be assessed a fee of 50% of the room rate until 3 p.m., and 100% of the room rate thereafter unless approval has been received through the Hotel's front desk.
Valet Parking is $29 per car, per day

The AESC has reserved rooms at the Montage Resort for your benefit. Reserve your accommodations early for the best chance of getting your first choice, as the number of rooms held is limited and, of course, the hotel certainly could sell-out all of their rooms at any time. By making housing reservations within the AESC room block at the Montage, you receive a substantial discount on the price of your accommodations
As is true for all groups who negotiate special discounted pricing for conference attendees, the American Eye Study Club has signed a contract with the Montage Resort that "guarantees" a certain number of hotel rooms will be booked during the dates of our meeting. If we do not achieve a minimum number of overnight accommodations, the Club faces huge financial penalties for unused sleeping rooms. This potentially can cost all members. By staying at the Montage instead of other off-property accommodations, you are helping the Club to meet its obligations and you experience the camaraderie that is a significant part of being a member of the American Eye Study Club!
